Lampions are covered candle lanterns, made in glass or transparent plastic, with a vented plastic cap to protect the flame from blowing out when placed outside.

They make great gifts for special occasions; Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, Birthdays, or they can be a gesture of Sympathy to a bereaved one.

All have a wax-filled plastic insert with burning times from 24 to 72 hours. Maximum burning times vary according to their size and each lampion comes complete with an unscented candle insert and cap. The candle inserts are a cylindrical plastic vessel containing wax & a wick and replacement inserts are available to purchase separately.

Each lampion conforms to EU standards so they burn evenly and do not smoke. The plastic vented cap is to be used for when the lampion is placed outside. As with any naked flame the standard candle safety precautions still apply.
